Free optimise pdf tool

Make a PDF smaller without losing the page.

Compression is not one switch: image resolution, duplicate objects and metadata all contribute to size. The workspace runs a compression pass that downsamples heavy images and rebuilds the file, then shows the result before you download.

02 / QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Will compression make text blurry?+

Vector text stays sharp. Large images are downsampled, so check photos and scans after compression.

Can I compress a scanned PDF?+

Yes. Scanned pages are image-heavy, so they often benefit the most.

Is there a size limit?+

Free files are limited to 100 MB; larger documents depend on available browser memory.
